Children love Festival at the Edge
There’s loads of activities for children and young people, with stories and music for all ages. There is also storytelling for young children in the Family Marquee as well as art and craft events, dance, and music.
Highlights include:
- Woodland Activities and Stories in the Birch Wood from Forest School Leader and Storyteller Sue Bailey. She is also leading a hunt to find Jack with her “Where’s Jack” story walk (for ages 3+).
- How to Create a Story-Play – with Carolyne and John Revell (Directors of Kaleidoscope Theatre), guiding you in various theatre skills combining story, music, and dance.
- Storyteller Sef Townsend with “Watery Tales of River and Sea” (Age 7+).
- Crate Stuff will be leading a Seaside and Pirate crafts – a workshop using recycled materials.
- And – watch out for Pirate Andy’s (aka Andy Harrop Smith) Tales from the Poopdeck, who will be donning his Pirate’s outfit and providing his own madcap magic and mayhem.
They won’t want to leave.
